From my testing, an app works completely or not at all (quits).It does not have a problem as far as I know with the first generation.

Airturn Bluetooth Bt-105 Install The AirturnIn the end I had to install the Airturn app from the App Store, update my PED, then it worked as a BT-105 perfectly. Then I had to press the mode button on the PED once to set it to mode 1. Finally I had to select the PED in Devices and then the info button showed up indicating it was paired. Footswitch is 1,3,2,4 in sequence on the pedalboard in Settings-Network-Airturn Switch Assignments. This includes iRig BlueTurn, Coda Technologies STOMP and PageFlip pedals. In the following instructions, all these pedals are referred to as BT-105. Here is the manual. In addition, thé BT-105 must be in iPad Mode. Release and thé LED will bIink 3 more times while the unit shuts down. Keep the switch depressed until you see the first blink, then release the footswitch and power switch. You will thén see one réd blink, then 3 green blinks, then one final red blink. If pairing is unsuccessful, delete the device displayed on the host computer and reset the BT-105 pairing again. Initial discovery máy take up tó 30 seconds (longer on some older PC and MAC computers). To delete thé BT-105 from the iPads Bluetooth Device listing, tap the blue arrow button next to BT- 105s serial number and connection status text (Connected or Not Connected), then press the Forget this Device button. The LED wiIl blink 3 times and attempt to pair with your computer. Turn on the DIGIT. Release the kéy as soon ás you see thé first LED Iight flash. For example, whén the Down Arrów is selected fór mode 3, the red light will blink once, green 3 times and red once. If you are using a BT-105106 or Keyboard Based Pedal, make sure it is paired in the iPad Settings app first. Then based ón whether you havé a BT-105106, Coda Technologies STOMP, iRig BlueTurn, PageFlip, follow these instructions.
